Located at the heart of the Golden Triangle you will find Conrad, Montana with a population of 2,602. Perched on the rolling prairies of the Rocky Mountain Front, Conrad serves as the county seat for Pondera County. The backbone of our economy is agriculture. Conrad is proud of scenic beauty and the up to date infrastructure that allows people to enjoy nature while staying connected to the world. Each June, Conrad hosts their Whoop Up Days: a town wide celebration that includes a parade and rodeo.

Glacier County was formerly part Chouteau County from 1865  to 1893 when it became a  part of Teton County before becoming an indepentent county in 1919. About 70.85 percent of the Glacier County's land area lies within the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. Another 20.58 percent lies within Glacier National Park at the county's extreme west. Its county seat is Cut Bank.
