Need to upgrade your business' finances? Need a refresher on the basics? Feeling lost? Join us in Choteau June 2-3 for an overview of how to navigate and make the most out of QuickBooks Desktop!
We are hosting a two-day workshop designed for small business owners and those new to QuickBooks. Both days will
be held at the Alice Gleason Meeting Room in the Choteau Teton County Library at 17 Main Avenue, Choteau, MT 59422.
Admission is $30/day, which must be paid online and in advance on our website. Each day has only 20 seats/computers available, so do not wait until the last minute! The computers provided are courtesy of the Montana Department of Transportation Small Business Enterprise program.
On both days, the introductory overview will take place from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Attendees will be able to sign up for optional 1-on-1 counseling sessions with the instructor between 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to go deeper into detail. The length of these counseling sessions will depend on the number of attendees. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
The instructor, Wendy Weissman, CPA, has worked in Montana since 1997. Her specialty has become small businesses and non-profits, with 200+ clients. Wendy specializes in QuickBooks and has become a Certified QuickBooks Adviser.
Day 1 (Thursday, June 2) will cover the basics of QuickBooks Desktop: how to navigate the software, how to enter business information, how to enter transactions for a business, and other key fundamentals. The objective is to familiarize users with the essentials for data entry.
Day 2 (Friday, June 3) will focus on putting QuickBooks Desktop to work for a business, and to ask, "The data is in-- now what?" Participants will learn how to run reports in QuickBooks Desktop and how to use different kinds of reports to assess different aspects of a business.
